Grant Garrigues, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, Co-Director of the Duke Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery Fellowship, Co-Director of Upper Extremity Trauma Surgery

Dr. Garrigues completed undergraduate and medical training at Harvard and Harvard Medical School, with an additional research degree from MIT.  After completing orthopaedic surgery residency at Duke, he pursued further training in shoulder surgery in Lyon and Nice, France and completed a one-year fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at The Rothman Institute in Philadelphia.  Dr. Garrigues treats any condition affecting the shoulder or elbow - specializing in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, fracture repair, and reconstructive surgery.  His research interests are aimed at optimizing treatment of clavicle fractures, rotator cuff tears, and arthritis.
