Program Description
Duke Sports Medicine is hosting the first inaugural Feagin Leadership Forum in partnership with the Duke Athletic Association and the Fuqua School of Business/Coach K Center of Leadership and Ethics. The theme for the forum will be “Leadership in Sports and Sports Medicine: How Leaders Build Exceptionally Effective Teams” in honor of Dr. Feagin and his contributions to Duke University, Duke Athletics, Duke Sports Medicine, and Orthopaedic Surgery. The program will include internationally renowned speakers in a morning session followed by an afternoon Duke-Virginia Tech football game.
We anticipate a lively and entertaining meeting highlighted by our Saturday morning leadership symposium. Speakers will include Head Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski, Heisman Trophy recipient Brigadier General (retired) Pete Dawkins, Dr. John Kelly, Dr. Bob Arciero, Dr. William Garrett, Chaplain Richard Camp, and renowned leaders from the business, military, medicine, athletics, and religion communities.
